Isoul8 & Mark de Clive-Lowe – Stop Bajon

It’s good to see one of my favourite labels from the last decade return with a new release. Archive Records founder Enrico Crivellaro uses his Isoul8 moniker to join Mark de Clive-Lowe for a cover-version of Tullio de Piscopa’s seventies classic Stop Bajon.

More info on the record can be found on Mark’s blog, but I can already tell you about an equally impressive remix by Detroit’s Theo Parrish on the flipside.

The 12-inch will be out in all good stores on November 29, 2010.

Domu on SoundCloud

I’ve been kinda sloppy with yesterday’s Weekly Bits. Not only did I forget to mention the Seasons Change mixtape from Stee Downes, I also wanted to mention Domu‘s recent activity on SoundCloud.

The track above is taken from the second Domu record, which was released ten years ago on Archive Records. However, there’s much more to discover, including a re-edit of Love Unlimited Orchestra, a demo of a remix for Tortured Soul and some early sketches for the upcoming album. Go and listen already!
