Well, I think you really should listen to the mixtape made by K15, but then there were some others worth checking out as well.
I’ve been following the Modeselektor guys on Soundcloud for some time and I’m used to getting nothing but 1 minute snippets. But this week, they uploaded this 35 minute long mixtape by Anstam, who has been releasing several EPs on their 50 Weapons label.
Los Angeles’ Tom Wilson releases music under the names of Take and Sweatson Klank. He’s currently on tour in Europe and for Playground Magazine he did an interview and a guestmix.
Brainfeeder signed Austin Peralta, son of legendary skateboarder and filmmaker Stacy Peralta, released a wonderful Sun Ra tribute on All City Records. Dazed Digital spoke to the young pianist and he made them an Intergalactic Mix.
Another interview/guestmix combo comes by the way of Inverted Audio, who spoke to 7even Recordings founder Greg G. He plays some new material from the label, get his mix over here.
And lastly, check out the mix by Montreal producer Jacques Greene for Oki-Ni.
Update Forgot to include the Kutmah guestmix for Tom Ravenscroft
Thanks to fellow blogger Gavin, I came across Azealia Banks and her video for 212.
I take it the appearances of Jacques Greene and Lunice, both of LuckyMe fame, are a hint the track was produced by the two Montréalais.
The track was available for 100 downloads, but you don’t have to look so hard to find it circling around.
However, there is another limited download still available on Azealia’s SoundCloud, again produced by Lunice.

Oct 13, 2011 The video was removed on both, Vimeo and YouTube, and the same goes for the track on SoundCloud. This confirms the comment M made below, as the mentioned Lazy Jay is on the label that took down the video. Boo!
Oct 24, 2011 Here are some backup links for the song and the video.
It’s been a while, so let me just update on a couple of mixes I’ve enjoyed recently.
On the occasion of having a new release out, Dorian Concept was featured on this Austrian radioshow. And they even talk in English over some of Dorian’s favourites and his new material.
Another huge favourite comes from DJ Nuts, who joined Gilles Peterson for one of his podcast sessions. Over an hour of quality Brazilian music!
It seems I missed out on a couple of recent Hotflush podcasts, but the latest comes from Twisted and it’s a recommended download.
For more hybrids between dubstep and techno, also check out the latest FACT Mix by Hessle Audio founder Pangaea or Dark Arx Podcast #5.
How about the recent show from LuckyMe’s Jacques Greene on Rinse FM?
Circus Maximus have a live-recording from French beatmaker Onra.
Last but not least comes another fine mix from Dutch Sotu the Traveller. Check his website for more of those, including another recent mix for RBMA Radio.
I have two mixtapes from New York outfit Sepalcure, that’s Machine Drum together with Percussion Lab‘s Praveen, to share with you. First up is their radio show presented by URB Magazine, the second is an older mix from the Little White Earbuds podcast.
Next up is a mix by Jacques Greene, whose new video we have featured earlier this week. The mix is once again available from URB Mag.
Not a mix, but a free track from the new Fabric 55 mix CD, put together by the one called Shackleton.
Bern’s Sassy J is one of Dimlite‘s closest peers and she has put together a truly great mixtape!
I have mentioned this video of IG Culture aka Son of Scientist interviewing his spiritual father Scientist on Twitter. Apparently, the two also recorded a radio show together.
Benji B showcased three new Photek tunes on his show this week, a fellow blogger recorded that segment and put it on his website.
Lastly, I got a mix by Caribou recorded from FM Brussels in late November.
