It’s been three years since his last album Drift came out, but to me it feels much longer. The wait is almost over, following a first teaser, Jason Chung’s second album as Nosaj Thing will be out end of January. Titled Home, the record will be out through Los Angeles-based label Innovative Leisure and it features vocal collaborations with Kazu Makino and Toro y Moi. Here’s a look at the full tracklist.01. You can listen to snippets of the record on the Bleep website, where you can also pre-order a copy on LP, CD and several download formats. The release date for the former two is January 21st, the downloads will be available a day earlier.

It’s Valentine’s Day and like every year, Hudson Mohawke has put together a special tape for the occasion. Another mix for lovers comes from Krystal Klear, titled Everything is Shit….Except You Love.
With Swim, Canada’s Caribou delivered an album that found itself in many best-of lists by the end of last year. For Resident Advisor, main man Dan Snaith made a contribution to their podcast series.
Earlier this month, Toro Y Moi delivered a mix for FACT Magazine and it’s been a personal favourite of mine over the weekend. Watch out for the new album coming out later this month!

Looks like there’s a new album by Toro Y Moi to see the light of day later this month. Titled “Underneath the Pine”, it is set for a release on Carpark Records. Here is a new video giving you a first impression of what it sounds like.
In the middle of writing this, I also came across another video. Thought I’d sneak it into this post as it’s another track from the same album.
