Let me begin this post with a Happy Birthday, because today the talented Kissey Asplund is celebrating her’s. On that occasion, she is giving away two songs for you to download. Both tracks were written when she was 19, below you can listen to Jazzcool.

Singer Kissey Asplund has posted her cover-version of Radiohead‘s Creep on her blog.

The unplugged cover is a nice example of what might happen in a moment of struggle to write or record new material in the studio. Not bad at all!

Here’s another one of those Jazz Re:freshed sessions at London’s Mau Mau Bar. It was recorded in October 2008 already, but as it’s been played only 427 times since, I took this as reason to dig it out for you.

The performance comes of course from Sweden’s Kissey Asplund, a great singer who is writing a nice blog herself.
