James Blake – Klavierwerke (live)

James Blake played a concert at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall last Sunday. Here’s a video of him performing the title track from his Klavierwerke EP, released on R&S last year.

You’ll find a couple of more videos on Sonic Ambulance‘s YouTube channel, including his cover of Feist’s Limit To Your Love.

Diggin' with Mayer Hawthorne

The guys from Yours Truly accompanied Mayer Hawthorne on his search for records at San Francisco’s Groove Merchant.

We all know that feeling, don’t we? But I guess it’s good to hear it from someone else, gives us the feeling of being part of the same secret society.

Mary Anne Hobbs Live in San Francisco

Alright, I figure today’s mixtape will not be everbody’s favourite, but there are certainly some fresh and interesting tunes on this one. It comes from BBC Radio One host Mary Anne Hobbs, who was on a trip at the West Coast to meet some of the most talented producers there. This mix is part of her DJ set at West Coast Rocks in San Francisco, a heavy selection of dubstep and grime.
